Quick Tip: How to Roast Pumpkin

Autumn brings many flavors to the table and one of Mother Nature’s most popular is pumpkin. Whether you’re whipping up bread, pie or cookies you will need a pumpkin puree and it’s always better fresh.

When choosing your pumpkin, remember to use the small sugar or pie pumpkins, not the larger ‘front-porch’ variety. After your oven-roasted chunks cool, you may store them covered in the fridge for up to three days before using.

Puree in blender or food processor and use in your favorite pumpkin recipe.
