Mt. Bachelor Mountain Biking: As an extension to the 300+ miles of single track offered in Central Oregon, the Mt. Bachelor Bike Park offers lift served access to more than a dozen miles of downhill oriented trails for all ability levels – from novice riders to expert dirt jumpers. Mt. Bachelor offers a variety of bike park season pass and ticket options, including an All-Mountain Bike Park Pass or Daily Bike Park Tickets, all servicing a walk-up skills park and two chairlifts that provide access to thrilling gravity trails, including Redline — Mt. Bachelor’s popular advanced jump line. Kids can take part in Gravity Bike Park Camps throughout the summer.
Mt. Bachelor Disc Golf: Mt. Bachelor’s Disc Golf course is a PDGA listed course. Guests will ride the Pine Marten chair up to hole #1 and work their way down the mountain to the final hole #18. Elevation and the varied terrain add extra elements to the game! A valid lift ticket or pass is required in order to ride the Pine Marten chairlift to hole #1. A ticket or pass is not required for those who choose to hike from the base area to the start zone.
Mt. Bachelor Zipline: Experience Mt. Bachelor like never before with the addition of Zip Tour Adventures. This dual-line, three-stage tour launches from an elevation of 7,800 feet, above the tree line at the top of Pine Marten lift and drops nearly 1,400 vertical feet along the volcano’s slopes to make it the Northwest’s steepest, fastest, and highest-elevation zip adventure.
Mt. Bachelor Scenic Chairlift: Scenic chairlift rides are a summer activity the whole family can enjoy! The trip begins at 6,300 feet in the West Village base area and takes guests on a relaxing ride to the Pine Marten Lodge perched at 7,800 feet. Enjoy drinks or a snack at Scapolo’s, hike around, and take in the sights. As summer progresses, the mountain exposes ancient lava flows, wildflowers and year-round snowfields.
Sun Country Whitewater Rafting Tours: Home of the Big Eddy Thriller since 1978! Sun Country Tours offer part-day, all-day or two-day whitewater adventures on the beautiful rivers of Oregon including the Deschutes, McKenzie and North Umpqua Rivers. Their most popular and convenient rafting trip, the Big Eddy Thriller, easily fits into a morning or afternoon. This award-winning outfitter also offers Stand Up Paddle (SUP) boarding rentals, lessons, and tours, as well as river float tube rentals from its location at Riverbend Park in Bend’s Old Mill District. Adventures are dependent on weather and water levels, but generally run from late spring to early fall.
Mt. Bachelor Sunset Dinners: Retreat to Mt. Bachelor Friday and Saturday evenings from July through Labor Day for a dining experience that transcends the ordinary. After a short but scenic chairlift ascent, guests will arrive at the Pine Marten Lodge where they’ll be treated to a visual and culinary locally-inspired feast served at 7,800’. Whether dining with family, friends, or that special someone, a Sunset Dinner at Pine Marten Lodge is an unforgettable one.
