Western Washington — November 2025 Basil & Salt Studios is honored to announce that founder and publisher Karie Engels has been invited to participate in the 6th Edition of the Notte Rosa del Vino, taking place July 4–5, 2026, in Calabria, Italy.

This distinguished celebration honors influential women from around the world who contribute to the wine, culinary, and cultural industries. The 2026 edition will be formally presented at Vinitaly in Verona, one of the leading wine events internationally.

Karie will travel with a producer from Endorphin Films, Basil & Salt’s long-standing production partner, to document the entire journey. Together, Basil & Salt Studios and Endorphin Films will film exclusive travel, cultural, and event content for streaming on both the Basil & Salt Lifestyle Network and G1NBC, with behind-the-scenes footage shared throughout the adventure. The documentary footage will be produced for streaming on both the Basil & Salt Lifestyle Network and G1NBC, expanding Basil & Salt’s international lifestyle content.
