G1NBC Developing a New Broadcast Campus in the Greater Seattle Area for 2026
Western Washington — November 2025 Basil & Salt Studios is excited to announce a major partnership with G1NBC Food Network, marking an important expansion for Basil & Salt’s original culinary, travel, and lifestyle programming.
Through this collaboration, Basil & Salt Studios will now produce series that stream across both the Basil & Salt Lifestyle Network on Roku and G1NBC. This partnership strengthens Basil & Salt’s growing presence in national lifestyle media while supporting new opportunities for creators and on-air talent.
Dual-Network Airing Structure
As part of the partnership, Basil & Salt series will follow a release model that expands reach across two audiences:
- If a series premieres on G1NBC first, Season One will later air on the Basil & Salt Lifestyle Network as G1NBC launches Season Two.
- If a series premieres on Basil & Salt first, Season One will later run on G1NBC as Season Two debuts on Basil & Salt.
This structure ensures two full airings for every season, amplifying visibility, longevity, and sponsorship value across both networks.
G1NBC’s New Seattle-Area Broadcast Campus
G1NBC has announced plans to design and launch a new multi-level broadcast campus in the Greater Seattle Area in 2026.
The facility will include:
- A full broadcast studio
- Executive apartments for visiting corporate members
- A professional studio kitchen for culinary programming
- A public-facing bistro/café aligned with G1NBC’s community-centered ethos
- Sound stages for multi-show production and development
Basil & Salt Studios will work within the upcoming campus, creating expanded opportunities for hosting, filming, production, other creators and collaborative content.
Studio Kitchen Design by INNER SPACE DESIGNS
Basil & Salt Lifestyle Studios is proud to announce its partnership with Andrea Bushdorf and INNER SPACE DESIGNS, who are leading the design and ethos of the studio kitchen. Their work will shape the visual identity, warmth, and functionality of the kitchen featured across Basil & Salt and G1NBC’s future culinary and lifestyle programming.
Andrea’s signature style — modern, inviting, and deeply connected to practical beauty — will define the environment where on-camera cooking, interviews, and lifestyle features are filmed.
Her studio kitchen design will become a recognizable visual element of the Basil & Salt brand across all platforms.
“Joining the G1NBC network opens extraordinary opportunities for us,” says Karie Engels, founder of Basil & Salt Studios.
“The new Seattle-area campus will serve as a powerful creative hub for future Basil & Salt productions, and we’re thrilled to bring our culinary and lifestyle storytelling to an even larger audience.”Expanding Basil & Salt’s National Presence
This partnership supports an exciting new chapter for Basil & Salt Studios:
- A broader national audience
- New original culinary and lifestyle series
- Strategic brand partnerships
- Expanded streaming content and production capabilities
- Integration into G1NBC’s national broadcast ecosystem
- A combined reach across both Basil & Salt and G1NBC audiences
- A signature designed studio kitchen that elevates all on-screen content
As Basil & Salt prepares for multiple new series launches, the G1NBC partnership provides the infrastructure and network support needed to scale production in 2026 and beyond.
