stoutLocal Restaurateur Unveils “Craft Everything” Pub and Restaurant

Reder Enterprises, a Seattle-based restaurant group, will celebrate the grand opening of STOUT, a premium casual neighborhood pub and restaurant in Seattle’s Capitol Hill, on Friday, January 30, 2015.

“I’m so excited to get things rolling with the opening of STOUT,” said Paul Reder, owner of Reder Enterprises. “Capitol Hill is one of my favorite places in Seattle and the people who live, work, and frequent this area share my passion for craft beer, cocktails, and food. I’m hoping that STOUT can add even more flavor to the neighborhood.”

STOUT is a distinctive Capitol Hill bar and restaurant that offers locals and visitors alike a tasty beer-centric experience. The restaurant features many interesting and hard-to-find beers from around the world, craft cocktails, and upscale pub food. STOUT fills a much-needed role in an already popular nightlife district, offering an approachable, yet stylish atmosphere that transforms itself from afternoon to evening.

Dramatic floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to fill the space during the day, while at night strategic lighting creates ambience and accentuates the large Tina Randolf mural that hangs high above the bar. At approximately 5,600 square feet, STOUT seats 180 and also features 15 high definition flat screen televisions with viewing angles from nearly every seat; convenient for the sports enthusiasts, and an interior hand-cranked garage door that can section off a portion of the dining area for special events and groups. An additional exterior garage door can be opened in the summer time to create an indoor / outdoor experience.

Reder Enterprises, LLC is a Seattle-based restaurant group (Tap House Grill), which also operates an accounting and consulting company for restaurant services (AMP). Paul Reder was born in Olympia, WA and has worked almost exclusively in restaurants, doing a wide variety of jobs, since he was 14. He opened his first restaurant (Tap House Grill in Bellevue, Wash.) in 2002. Reder was honored as one of Puget Sound Business Journal’s “40 Under Forty” in 2007.

Located on the corner of E. Pine Street and 11th Avenue in Capitol Hill, STOUT occupies the ground floor space of the newly constructed Sunset Electric Apartment building.
