Halloweekend Party Cocktails

Don’t be haunted by a hangover this Halloween! Check out these frighteningly delicious clean cocktails made with Volley.

POMEGRANATE GINGER BUBBLY

Ingredients

  • 1/2 can Volley Spicy Ginger Spiked Seltzer
  • 1/2 ounce triple sec
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • Splash pomegranate juice
  • Garnish: orange and/or lime wheel and pomegranate seeds

Directions

  1. Combine Spicy Ginger Volley, triple sec and lime juice into a cocktail shaker, shake thoroughly.
  2. Pour into glass and add a splash of pomegranate juice.
  3. Garnish with orange or lime wheel and pomegranate seeds.

SMOKEY CIDER

Ingredients

  • 1/2 can Volley Spicy Ginger Spiked Seltzer
  • 1 ounce Mezcal
  • 1 ounce thyme honey simple syrup
  • Optional garnish: splash apple cider, cinnamon stick, thyme sprig and/or apple slice.

Directions

  1. Add ingredients to cocktail shaker with ice, shake lightly and pour into glass.
  2. Top with apple cider and garnish with cinnamon stick, thyme sprig and apple slice.

HONEY THYME SIMPLE SYRUP

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup water
  • 10 sprigs of fresh thyme tied together with kitchen twine 

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, honey and water. Heat over medium high heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Submerge the tied thyme in the still hot simple syrup and steep for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove the thyme and discard. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove any thyme leaves or other particles.
  4. Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator until cooled.
