Lively Washington Brewers Festival kicks off tonight

We have been patiently, or perhaps not so patiently, waiting for the Washington Brewer’s Festival to make it’s way back around the calendar and land on Father’s Day weekend.  There are two and half days of merriment to be had by all at King County’s Marymoor Park.  6046 W. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE in Redmond.

200 different beers from 64 different breweries, pick your day to take dad out for a tasting of the brew.

Friday 21+ only  4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

  • $15 advance tickets/at door
  • Admission includes a tasting cup and 5 tasting tokens
  • Designated Driver admission $5 and available at door only

Saturday and Sunday is open to all ages  Sat 11 – 9 and Sun 11 – 6

$25 advance and at he door.  Admission includes tasting cup and 6 tasting tokens. Designated Driver admission only $5 at door only.  Person under 21 are admitted free of charge and must be accompanied by a parent.

If you are still in a lively mood after the Brewers Festival head out to Seattle and play in the Fremont Neighborhood.  The 41st Annual Fremont Fair runs June 16 and 17th, Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Fremont Ave non N 35th Street and North 34th Street / Canal Street

Admission is free, donations made at the fairs info booths and beer gardens will benefit a number of area non – profit groups.

Local bands will play live music on 2 main stages, there are more than 300 booths featuring colorful world imports, novel creations, arts and crafts and food and drink.

Fremont’s Solstice Parade begins Noon on Saturday.
