Shaun the Bartender
Each and every day Shaun posts a fabulous cocktail on his site and he graciously allows us to pull and post our fav of the week. This cocktail caught my attention with the hint of island breezes. Coconut, pineapple, and lemon flavors in a rum and cognac drink turns ordinary in to summer magic.
Nutcracker Cocktail
- Juice of 1 1/2 Lemons
- 1 1/2 oz. Coconut flavored Rum
- 1 oz. Cognac
- 1 oz. Pineapple Juice
Method: In a shaker filled half way with ice, first squeeze in the lemons, throwing away the remnants after doing so. Pour in the measured amounts of the other ingredients. Cap with a mixing glass and shake well. Strain into a nicely chilled cocktail glass.
This is the perfect drink this time of year, blending together the drink of the Caribbean with the drink of France.
