Chef Russell Lowell bringing Mythology to Life with Winemaker Dinner

Magick and mystery, exquisite cuisine and ambrosial wines.  Be astounded by The Cabiri, a mythos physical theatre group,  as they soar through the air and mingle among guests at The Loft at Russell’s.

Chef Russell Lowell invites you to dine inside a mystical world while enjoying a delectable four course meal with wine pairings by Sleight of Hand Cellars.  The menu and wines are exquisite, the entertainment, full of mythology.

Tres Fromage.  Paired with 2010 Enchantress Chardonnay.  Sourced from French Creek Vineyard in the lower Yakima Valley, this wine is mineral driven, and full of spice and green apples, along with a citrus zest note to the finish.

Roasted Heirloom Tomato Soup with Duck Confit & Creme fraiche.  Paired with 2010 Archimage.  Aged for 20 months in 50% new French oak, it is dark crimson red with expressive aromas and flavors of black cherries, cola, creme de cassis, vanilla, maple syrup and ripe berries.

Rack of Lamb with Demi Glace & Balsamic Gastrique and Yukon Gold Potato Galette. Paired with 2010 Illusionist.  The color is  a deep red/black and it’s nose is classic Cabernet Sauvignon with notes of tobacco leaf, blueberries, spice box, fresh roasted coffee beans, and vanilla.

Chocolate Pecan Pie with Caramel Anglaise & Whipped Cream.  Paired with 2011 Levitation Syrah.  Aromas and flavors of blueberries, blackberries, licorice, and fresh cocoa.
