Havana is the birthplace of the Mojito and we are feeling the Cuban vibe. Cocina 214 has shared four of their best rum recipes with us to help you celebrate. Lime Mojito
- 6 mint leaves, no stems
- 2 ounces simple syrup
- 1.5 ounces Bacardi Rum
- 1 oz soda water
- 1 oz diluted lime juice
Method: Muddle together, mint, simple syrup and lime juice. Add ice and rum. Shake and serve in a 16 ounce glass, adding soda water at the end.
- 6 mint leaves, no stems
- 1 ounce simple syrup
- 1.5 ounces Bacardi Rum
- .5 ounce lime juice
- 2 ounces soda water
- 4 pieces of orange
- splash of orange juice
Method: Muddle together, mint, simple syrup, lime juice and orange pieces. Add ice and rum, shake and serve in a 16 ounce glass. Add soda water and orange juice.
- 6 mint leaves, no stems
- 1 ounce pineapple
- 1.5 ounces pineapple juice
- 1.0 ounce simple syrup
- .75 ounce Malibu Pineapple Rum
- .75 ounce Bacardi Coconut Rum
- Splash Soda Water
- .5 ounces diluted lime juice ( 3/4 lime juice, 1/4 water )
Method: Muddle together mint, pineapple, lime juice and simple syrup. Add ice and rum, shake and pour into a 16 oz glass.Top off with soda water and pineapple juice.
- 6 mint leaves, no stems
- 4 raspberries
- .5 ounces lime juice
- 1 ounce simple syrup
- 1.5 ounces Flora de Cana
- splash club soda
Method: Muddle together, mint, raspberries and lime juice. Add ice, simple syrup and Flora. Shake, pour and top off with soda water.
