The Classic Mojito

This Cuban beauty is perfect for sipping on the front porch while you watch the world go by.

Havana is the birthplace of the Mojito and we are feeling the Cuban vibe! Summer isn’t here yet, but the thought of warm breezes, hot sand and azure waters have us craving warm weather rum cocktails.

Mojito Recipe

  • Difficulty: Sinfully delicious

Mojito revisedIngredients
1 1/2 ounce White rum
6 Mint leaves, plus 1 for garnish
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup
chilled soda water
Ice
Directions:  In a cocktail shaker, muddle mint sprigs, add ice, lime juice, rum and simple syrup.  Shake well, strain into ice filled collins glass. Garnish with sprig of mint leaves and served with a straw.
