
Summer has kicked it up a notch or three here in the Northwest and frozen treats of all kind are on the menu. With the 4th of July around the corner and temps promising to be in the 80’s we are collecting as many “cool” recipes and creations as possible, to give you many options for your backyard celebration.
Slightly Sloshed Slushy by Redbook Magazine. This is an absolutely delicious cocktail and when you read the shopping list you will see a surprising ingredient. Some bartenders use it, why not you? Frozen Margarita by iFood.tv. “Is a Margarita during a heatwave too cliche’?” was a comment / question I read on site yesterday and the answer is, absolutely not! I love the fresh flavor combos that the Margarita offers as any fresh fruit goes. Stop by your local market, browse through the stands and choose whatever makes your mouth happy. Add some tequila, ice and start sipping.
Margarita
- Lime
- Salt
- 2 oz. tequila
- ¾ oz. fresh lime juice
- 1 oz. Triple Sec
- 1 cup crushed ice
