Beef Sirloin Tip Steak Stroganoff
- 1.5 lbs Beef Sirloin Tip steak, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces large mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 zucchini, sliced into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Wide egg noodles or rice, cooked (for serving)
- Begin by seasoning the thinly sliced Beef Sirloin Tip steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak slices to the skillet, searing them for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are browned. Cook in batches if necessary. Once cooked, transfer the steak to a plate and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the mushrooms, onions, and zucchini until they are tender and slightly browned.
- Pour in the Worcestershire sauce and beef broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any flavorful bits.
- Reduce the heat to low and return the cooked beef to the skillet, stirring it into the sauce.
- Stir in the sour cream, allowing it to melt and combine with the other ingredients. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, ensuring the flavors meld together.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.
- Serve over a bed of cooked wide egg noodles or rice. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and added freshness.
- Accompany the Beef Sirloin Tip Steak Stroganoff with a side of steamed vegetables or a crisp green salad for a well-rounded meal.
- Pair it with a glass of robust red wine, such as a Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon, to complement the richness of the dish.
- For added indulgence, serve with a dollop of sour cream on top and sprinkle with paprika.
